Tanya Myrick, MS, CCC-SLP

Tanya Myrick, MS, CCC-SLP is an assistant clinical professor of communication science and disorders at the University of Kansas. She supervises graduate student clinicians full-time in the clinic during the provision of treatment and evaluation services to children.

Prior to joining the University of Kansas, Mrs. Myrick served as the lead speech-language pathologist at Kansas Public Schools in Kansas City, Missouri where she provided support and mentorship to the district speech pathology staff.

Mrs. Myrick’s experience includes several years of experience in the public-school setting as a speech-language pathologist and speech-language diagnostician serving students in preschool through high school. 

Throughout her career, Mrs. Myrick has also worked in other settings such as children’s hospitals and skilled nursing facilities with an emphasis on diagnostics and supervision/mentorship.

Mrs. Myrick holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree from University of Central Missouri.
