Directions and Parking

Schiefelbusch Clinic, Language Acquisition Preschool, and Speech-Language-Hearing Department Labs 

Due to construction during the Summer of 2026, the rear parking lot #37 to Haworth Hall will be closed. If you are coming to the Schiefelbusch Clinic, the Language Acquisition Preschool, or the SPLH Department for research, please be aware that our regular parking spots have been moved to Sunnyside Avenue in parking lot #8. ADA/Handicap parking will be in the parking spots located just behind Dole for all locations in parking lot #37. Please obey all posted signage and driving rules on campus. Parking lot #8 is located in the angled parking spots on Sunnyside Avenue. 

Please park in a reserved spot marked SPLH. You will have to walk north across Sunnyside to enter the buildings.

From I-70/West Lawrence

• Exit 202 and follow Iowa Street into Lawrence.
• Drive past the main entrance to the University at Bob Billings/15th Street and Iowa and turn left on 19th Street.
• Follow 19th Street to Naismith Drive and turn left to enter campus. 
• Follow Naismith Drive until it turns into a T with Sunnyside Avenue. 
• Turn right on Sunnyside Avenue. 
• For regular parking, use the marked diagonal spots on Sunnyside Avenue in front of Haworth Hall. These spaces in lot 8 will be marked with a sign that states “SPLH Clinic”. You will have to cross the street to enter the building using the doors next to the glass hallway. Haworth is on the left; Dole is on the right. Please take the elevator to the correct floor. • For ADA/Handicap parking, from Sunnyside Avenue, you turn left on Dole Center Drive, taking you behind the buildings. You will find accessible parking spots located on the right in lot #37. See attached map for walking directions. The entrance to Dole is directly behind you, and the entrance to Haworth is to the right. Please walk to the building you need to access. From K-10/East Lawrence

• Follow K-10 into Lawrence, and onto 23rd Street.
• Follow 23rd Street to Naismith Drive and turn right. You will drive through a neighborhood and then onto campus.
• Follow Naismith Drive until it turns into a T with Sunnyside Avenue. 
• Turn right on Sunnyside Avenue. 
• For regular parking, use the marked diagonal spots on Sunnyside Avenue in front of Haworth Hall. These spaces in lot 8 will be marked with a sign that states “SPLH Clinic”.
